SIGN UP FOR JAY PUMPHREY COWBOY CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT

June 21, 2010 - AQHA Racing is inviting horsemen to register for the 31st annual Jay Pumphrey Cowboy Classic Memorial Invitational golf tournament, August 31 and September 1 at the Links at Sierra Blanca in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The tournament each year precedes the All American weekend festivities at Ruidoso Downs.

Golfers may play either day or both days; trophies will be awarded for single-day play, though golfers must play both days to be eligible for the tournament championship. The entry fee is $150 for a single day or $275 for both days.

There are two hole-in-one contests this year, including $10,000 sponored by AQHA and a Ford F-250 from Whiteface Ford in Hereford, Texas.

If you are interested in sponsoring a hole, the fee is $125.

The Jay Pumphrey Classic began in 1980 as a way to get professional racing horsemen together, and organizers now encourage participants to invite friends or associates who may be interested in becoming a part of the industry.
